Speakers Bios:

Melissa Bailey
Rich Schreiber

Melissa K. Bailey has worked for University of Alabama Police Department for 20 years and been Police Communications Supervisor since 2015.  She maintains multiple APCO Certifications: PST, PST-I, CTO, CTO-I, and Communications Center Supervisor. Melissa is consulting with the Denise Amber Lee Foundation and a multiagency team to develop a basic university-specific telecommunicator course.

Richard Schreiber is the Communications Center Director for NorthStar EMS Inc. in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Rich has more than 19 years of experience in the corporate emergency medical sector. Rich has practical experience in a variety of emergency communication positions, including providing strategic counsel on operations, and communications to fire and emergency medical service executives. Mr. Schreiber has the unique distinction of being the first Communications Center Director in the history of the State of Alabama to earn the Medical Accredited Center of Excellence merit through the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch.
