Emergency Communications Districts
(ECD) are organized at either the County or
Municipal level. Each District may then operate one or more PSAPs to answer 9-1-1 calls.

An on-line ECD list is being maintained by ALNENA in conjunction with the Alabama
Public Service Commission.
The new system was launched 6/9/06 whereby each ECD
can maintain their data on-line.
Unless
someone decides they are willing to maintain one, the PSAP database is no
longer available.
